Mr. LaPointe, is the Principal for the firm of LaPointe & Company; he has involved in community services and has served as Director, President and Treasurer of a Homeowner’s Association and most recently as the Treasurer for a charitable and fraternal organization. Mr. LaPointe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

She holds a number of degrees to include a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Miami, Florida; a Masters Degree in International Relations form the State University of New York, Albany, New York; and a Bachelor's Degree in English and Political Science from the University of Miami, Florida. She is a graduate of the Women in Executive Leadership Program (WELP). From 2004 - 2008 she sat on the President's Export Council and in 2007 was a member of the White House Council on Aging.
